A Heartfelt Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora Annual General Meeting at Rautahi Marae.
We were humbled by the strong turnout, with more than 110 whānau and community members present. Due to the number of people intending to attend, we moved the hui to Rautahi Marae to ensure everyone could be welcomed and accommodated.
It was a powerful and positive hui that reflected the growth of our Hauora since its inception 30 years ago. Over that time, Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora has continued to lean into the needs and aspirations of our community, strengthening services for whānau and responding to the realities before us.
A New Chapter in Matatā
A key highlight of the evening was announcing our expansion into Matatā — an important step in continuing to grow our reach and support for whānau across our rohe.

We also want to acknowledge the strength of the trustee election process. We were humbled to receive 11 nominations from people willing to put themselves forward in service of our people.
