IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT The Prime Minister announced this evening 4 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Auckland region with no history of overseas travel and the source of origin unknown. Contact tracing protocols are being actioned resulting in Auckland escalating to Alert Level 3 from midday tomorrow 12th August for 3 days unless stated otherwise. For the rest of the country, we will be escalated to Alert Level 2 from midday also. It is important to observe the protocols of Alert Level 2 by regular and proper handwashing, maintaining 2 meter distancing where possible and staying home if you feel unwell. Supermarkets will maintain stocks so there is no need to rush out and get supplies. If you have appointments at our sites and become unwell, please stay home. We want to assure our community that Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora have robust pandemic plans in place in the event of a resurgence and we will work closely with our community partners to keep our community and whanau as safe as possible.
