Ngā Pou e Whā

Our Strategic Pillars

Our Mahere Rautaki 2025–2030 is built on four pou — pillars that shape how we deliver culturally grounded, whānau-led wellbeing across the rohe. Where mana motuhake, mātauranga, and aroha shape a system of wellbeing grounded in whakapapa and whenua.

Oranga Whānau
Whānau-Led Wellbeing — whānau aspirations at the centre, with cultural responses to cultural injuries
Te Hāpai Tangata
High-Trust Workforce — our kaimahi empowered, valued, and culturally equipped to lead
Whaihua
Intelligent Systems — quality, compliance, and AI-readiness in service of our kaupapa
Tūwharetoa e!
Intergenerational Transformation — system leaders shaping futures of strength for whānau

Tō Mātou Hapori

Serving Our Community

For nearly 30 years, mai Te Awa o Te Atua ki Pūtauaki, Tūwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora has walked alongside whānau, hapū, and iwi. Connected to our four marae — Tohia o Te Rangi, Ōniao, Hahuru, and Umutahi — our kaimahi bring aroha, manaakitanga, and clinical excellence to everything we do. We are not just a service provider. We are of this place.

He Karakia, he Waiata

Start the Day Together

Every morning at 8:30 AM, our kaimahi and whānau gather at Hōkai Ake Nei for karakia and waiata. It is how we ground ourselves in wairua before the mahi of the day. Nāu mai, haere mai — all are welcome.
